To afford his daughter's wedding, a down-on-his-luck Hasidic comedian convinces a wealthy old friend to hire him, triggering a chaotic rivalry with a younger rival to reclaim his former glory.
Moishe (Shuli Rand), once the city’s most sought-after badhan, a Hasidic comedian and wedding emcee, cannot afford his only daughter Surah Leah’s wedding. When his childhood friend Yisroel returns from America for his own son’s lavish wedding, accompanied by a young, flashy American badhan, hope arrives when Moishe convinces Yisroel to hire him as well. However, things quickly spiral out of control when Moshe engages in a battle to reclaim his former glory.
