Famous cookbook author Adeena Sussman came to the Leah Posluns Theatre for a warm and wonderful evening. She was joined on stage by Canadian food legend Bonnie Stern for a lively conversation and a live cooking demo featuring recipes from Adeena's new cookbook, Zariz, which is on sale now. Together, they spoke to a packed house about the delicious flavors, stories, and community feelings behind Israeli cooking.
The discussion looked at how food brings people together. Adeena shared stories from her popular cookbooks and talked about her life in Israel. She described the busy food markets and the different family traditions that inspire her recipes today.
It was an unforgettable night of warmth and food inspiration that brought the community together to celebrate the simple joy of sharing a good meal around the table.
